Good Thoughts in Children

One day as Raju was walking out of school, he heard someone call out to him.  Turning behind, he found his classmate Rupali walking towards him. The little girl came up to him and began the conversation. “Yesterday I had not come to school.  Except History, I have come to know as to what was taught in the other subjects.  Can you share your History notes with me?” “Sure, Rupali” came the prompt reply from Raju. “Today there was no History period and so the notebook is at home.  Come home with me! I shall hand it over to you!” Raju concluded. “Thanks!” Rupali exclaimed obliged.  “By the way….” she continued with much reluctance, “…I wanted to tell something!” “Yes!” “That day, when the others laughed when you answered a question wrongly, I was also one among them.”  Rupali expressed her regret. “I seek your pardon for that!” “No, Rupali!  At first, I felt bad! My parents always say that we should always learn good factors from any incident and forget the rest.  From that incident, I learnt a very useful lesson from masterji that we should always understand what we learn and not mug it up. I only remembered that factor and forgot the rest!  I now hold no grudge against anyone.  Now, let us go to my home! ” Raju offered with utmost nobility. “Very well, Raju!” Rupali responded appreciating her colleague’s magnanimity. “I shall also remember what your parents have told you!” Both the children then walked to Raju’s residence.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Dear Friends,

It is in the manner we behave with our children that develops their growth and thinking in that environment.

If we can cultivate noble thoughts in their minds it would kindle love and passion in their hearts which would help them to become responsible citizens.

That is the moral of this story.  Thank you!
